Academy Award for Exemplary Partnership.

The National Career Academy Coalition has announced that the Vermont Chamber of Commerce
Business-Education Partnership will receive the Academy Award for Exemplary Partnership
on Friday, October 17th 2003 at 5:00 pm during the National Career Academy Coalition (NCAC) conference which will be held in Honolulu, Hawai from October 16-20, 2003.

The Exemplary Partnership Award is awarded to an organization or governing Board that exemplifies a true working partnership between the school and its business partners. A partnership is defined as a relationship in which the school and the partners have collectively addressed concerns, solved problems, or created positive solutions and outcomes for the academy. Examples of solutions may include student/teacher work placements, grant acquisitions, curriculum design or other initiatives.
